This popular hangout in historic Ghent is tiny and eclectic, with an artistic crowd and funky decor. Cutting-edge music is typically on the loudspeakers, and because it is so small, it fills up quickly, but this is a fun stop for a glass of wine or a mixed drink, with some of the best people watching in town. Local art is frequently featured on the walls.

This large former warehouse, complete with bare cement floor, is considered perhaps the best place in Norfolk for live music. Many of the shows feature regional talent, but theere's a full line up of big-name acts as well. Past performers have inlcude Blues Traveler, Black Crowes, System of a Down, and Burning Spear.
